Friday is my favorite day of the week for many reasons. For me (Joey), it is because of how much new music comes out. I start my Friday morning by listening to my release radar. Sky and I listen to all kinds of music, and we want to share what new music we are listening to. We have a similar taste in music, (mostly rap and classic rock) so if you share our music taste, check out this article every Friday.
Finding a show to stand atop the rest in this unsurpassed year of anime is nearly impossible. The catalog in 2021 had a never-ending stream of fluid animation, incredible scores, and breathtaking stories. Every genre was showcased through an excellent show and no simulcast was left without an Anime of the Year contender.
The 2022 Tiger wrestling team is on a warpath. Led by seniors Alex Feldkamp, Carter Bunch, Hal Holbrook, along with juniors Brady Allen and Justin Krebs. The team also features sophomore sensation Carter Guillaume. Although wrestling is an individual sport, the strength of Tiger wrestling is in the team. Captain Alex Feldkamp has seen his team make the transition within practice to shift focus to the State Tournament.

The St. X faculty basketball game on Feb. 3 is destined to be an instant classic as some of the Tigers’ top faculty ballers hit the court in the state-of-the-art Brother John Wills Sports Activities Center. Expect drama as teacher superstars Señor Salomon, Mr. Caudill, Coach McCormick, and numerous other St. X legends lace up their basketball shoes to create a thrilling display of world class athleticism. Although the hype for the big game may seem overwhelming, the comprehensive analysis and mock draft below breaks down the highly anticipated athletic spectacle simply and eloquently.
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls... Tilted Towers is back and better than ever. It has been nearly two whole years since we’ve seen tilted in all of its beauty, but alas, it’s back! A place where we’ve all settled our differences with the opposition, whether you love it or hate it, tilted is a very pivotal destination in the world of Fortnite. I have communicated with some of my dear brothers here at Saint Xavier High School on what their favorite locations are to land in Tilted and the reasoning behind it.
As I have reflected on the cross, I have come to see it as a tangible representation of what separates St. X from most high schools. A continual recommitment to our roots in Christ is what makes St. X different. As I pass this cross each day I see it as substantial evidence of how St. X was built on the foundation of Christ and, today and every day, recommits to the mission of providing the highest level of education to young men so as to foster respect, honor and service to God's world.
While the world of archery is unfamiliar to the vast majority of St. X students, the sport is truly not much different from any of those that may be more well-known. Archery requires the same dedication and determination as football or baseball—along with its share of difficulties.
St. X’s top student and faculty ballers need to be on alert during Catholic Schools Week (Jan. 31-Feb. 3) as the school hosts an array of exciting basketball events and challenges for Tigers across all grade levels during lunch periods. Each contest held in the Sterne Gym requires at least a one dollar donation to participate. All proceeds go to support Catholic Charities Migration and Refugee Services.
