Midterms are just around the corner and people such as myself are extremely concerned about what to expect. The fears rushing through the minds of sophomores and freshmen are overwhelming. Last year no one in St. X was required to take the midterms. Half of the St. X student body hasn’t ever even taken a midterm.  If you are anything like me, you probably have a lot of questions and concerns. I had a few questions such as what should I expect to see in the midterm? How much should I stress over the midterm? What do I need to do to be successful in my midterm? What are some of the best tips to survive midterms?

There are so many different traditions celebrated on Thanksgiving. Here at Xavier News, we share the joy of Thanksgiving all differently. Even though we all may have different traditions, we all feel that coming together on Thanksgiving with our loved ones is important and builds great relationships.

On Nov. 14, 2021, St. X displayed every area of its incredible campus. From the original places to the newest renovations, students interested in becoming a Tiger one day came with their families to tour the school. The event was a complete success, and upwards of a thousand people had the opportunity to experience the authentic St. X experience over the course of the day.

On Monday, Oct. 4, I was able to experience this retreat with some of my fellow classmates. Many great skills and life lessons are formed and experienced when attending retreats, and the same can be said about my own retreat.
