Tigers take down the rocks at the midway point of the season in a pivotal game

St. X Soccer Shuts Out Trinity

St. X (14-1-1) came out on top versus Trinity (12-2) with a score of 2-0. Our Tigers came off a big 5-3 win versus the former number one team Ballard on Monday. Trinity played Ballard Saturday, and they lost 0-1. Trinity dropping two straight games is significant because of playoff implications. This win for the Tigers cements them as a major contender for October.

“Take a breath when you can’t find the answer. Staying relaxed and focused is extremely important to preventing mindless mistakes,” said Estes. “Sleep is extremely important for this. Sometimes as high school students, I feel like we forget what it feels like mentally to get nine hours and be at the top of our game.”

Calling All Talented Tigers

The talent show will take place Monday, March 21, during the school day. St. X has hosted talent shows in the past, however this is the first time our school has hosted a talent show in many years. All who are interested in trying out should contact a representative of SAC and watch your email inbox for more information. Tryouts will take place on Monday, March 7 right after school.

The 2022 Tiger wrestling team is on a warpath. Led by seniors Alex Feldkamp, Carter Bunch, Hal Holbrook, along with juniors Brady Allen and Justin Krebs. The team also features sophomore sensation Carter Guillaume. Although wrestling is an individual sport, the strength of Tiger wrestling is in the team. Captain Alex Feldkamp has seen his team make the transition within practice to shift focus to the State Tournament.
