Songs reach a part of the brain that nothing else in this world can. This song proves the emotions that can be felt through hearing someone’s expressions.

Abel Tesfaye might be an unfamiliar name for a lot of people, but let’s talk about what he’s most well known for.
Bryan Adams is a seemingly obvious choice for a throwback Thursday.

Sam’s Throwback Thursday

Sam Hayward, Staff Writer September 8, 2022
It’s time to take a break from somewhat recent rap (because according to some people, 2015 is “not a throwback”) and take a look at one song that could teleport even the most modern man to a much simpler time -- the 80s.

What song could feature one of the best rappers of all time, a world-renowned queen of hip hop, and an iconic member of the Beatles? “FourFiveSeconds” by Rihanna, of course.

Sky and Joey’s Final Throwback Thursday

Sky Kustes and Joey Maier May 5, 2022
Yesterday was our last day of senior year. Collectively, Sky and I are getting slightly emotional. To celebrate, we are going all the way back to 2019, the year we were freshmen. This is music we were bumping to when we were children.

This week, we are sort of defeating the purpose of “throwback”. Sky and myself decided to take a spin on the newer age of R&B music. We had lots of options to pick from, but we were able to narrow it down to these two fantastic songs.
Sky and Joey’s Release Radar

Sky and Joey’s Release Radar

Sky Kustes and Joey Maier April 22, 2022
BEHOLD! Release Radar makes its return. The last few weeks haven’t seen such a large turnout in new music releases, which is sad. Summer is approaching fast, with many music festivals coming up, artists are dropping tour dates, and a few of our favorites have dropped new music. These are our picks for our final Friday of High School.
Album Review: The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars

Sky Kustes, Staff Writer April 20, 2022
“This album is a classic” is a sentiment I often hear. Sure, many albums from bands like The Doors, The Beatles, Ramones, and Nirvana, as well as single acts like Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, and Johnny Cash have been played time and time again over the many decades since they were released; but what is it that makes these artists and albums “classic”? I set out to find a classic album that doesn't get nearly as much attention than the other artists listed above. I decided on David Bowie’s "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars", released in 1972.
