Filling the shoes of Mekhi Smith, Cole Sherman and the rest of last year's regional semifinal team is no small task. This year, the Tiger basketball team is predominantly filling the voids with young talent that is being fostered by senior leadership. Although they lost a lot of production from last year, the team's goals remain the same–getting to Rupp Arena.
Friday, Feb. 11 — This game features a rivalry matchup for the Tigers. The DeSales Colts have gone through a couple rough stretches this season, but their guard play and steady big-men could make this a very interesting game.
Saturday, Jan. 15 — St. X hosted arch rival Trinity this past weekend. The Tigers jumped to an early lead, and never trailed the rest of the game — eventually winning the game 67-61.
The Tiger basketball team has high hopes for this upcoming year and are looking to bounce back after losing to Ballard in the first round of the Regional Tournament last season.
