Studying is one of the most important parts of high school and the most important part of studying is choosing the best place to do it. So here are the best places to study in the school.
CMC
The CMC is by far what you think of when you picture a good place to study at St. X. Typically very quiet which makes it easy to focus on what you need to do. It also has many study resources since it is a library as well. Overall, the most consistent place to study without being bothered.
VLSC
The Learning Center provides a quiet place to study and has very few people that will distract you and Coach Cotty as well as Mr. Kemper are always there to keep you focused and help you study if needed. Overall if you want a study partner who won’t distract you the Learning Center is the place for you.
Borders Commons
While not the quietest during the morning or in the afternoon during the school day, it is among the quietest in the school especially when there is a study hall proctor in there. Since there are many people there you can typically have one or more study partners. Overall a solid place to study while not being the quietest or having the most study resources.
The Cafeteria
Even though it is almost always the loudest place in the school during the day, the abundance of study partners can make up for it. There are more than likely three or more people in the cafeteria at any given time that have the same class or can help you study regardless. If you can thrive in louder environments and with multiple study partners this is the place for you. Overall, while not the most quiet it can still be a good studying environment.
