I love traveling and I love visiting National Parks. I have been fortunate enough to be able to travel to several National Parks and National Monuments. Here are my top three favorite National Parks that I think you should visit at least once in your lifetime.

3. Olympic National Park
Olympic National Park located in Washington State is a gorgeous National Park thanks to its countless mountains and ridges that cover a majority of the protected land. Olympic has lots of great hikes that provide amazing views of the surrounding mountains and greenery. I recommend hiking the Hurricane Ridge trail, a 3.2 round trip hike on a paved road that will reward you with views of snow-capped mountains.

2. Grand Canyon National Park
The Grand Canyon is a staple to American geography because of its sheer size as well as its bright orangish colored stone. This Arizona National Park provides an endless range of activities from staying on park grounds in the lodges, canoeing in the Colorado River, to visiting the museum to learn about the parks origin and history. The reason that the Grand Canyon is in the number two spot is because of its popularity, it is often pretty crowded making visiting slightly less enjoyable, and even then I still 100% recommend visiting at least once in your life.

1. Glacier National Park
Glacier National Park is my favorite park that I have been to due to its uniqueness. The park, located in Montana, consists of mountains, lakes, waterfalls, cliffs, and rainforests. The Going-to-the-Sun-Road is a must when visiting Glacier because it spans 50 miles of the park displaying the vast diversity and nature that is guarded within. A hike that I would recommend is the Avalanche Lake trail that leads hikers to a beautiful lake fed by glacier runoff and surrounded by cedar trees.
