Honorable Mention: Dr. Nefario (When he switches to El Macho's side)
This switch shook up our childhoods alone. What a move by Nefario. This was pure evil. He was Gru's lifelong right hand man, and left him for his new enemy El Macho. He was tired of creating jams and jellies, and he loved the game of being evil so much that he had to switch sides. You have to respect his passion and hustle for the game of evil. Nobody does it like the man himself.
10. Vincent
As one of the biggest underdogs in this ranking, Vincent (the bear) is one scary beast. After RJ from Over the Hedge sneaks into his cave while he’s sleeping and loses all of his hibernation stashed snacks, Vincent gave RJ the raccoon only a week to get all of his food back, or else he was going to be his next meal. Vincent’s raunchy grin and hungry appetite creates unforgiving shivers down your spine, giving him the last remaining spot on this list.
9. Titan
From a goofy old cameraman in the shadows of Roxanne Richie, Hal Stewart is a nobody. After Megamind accidentally injects him with a serum that turns him into a superhero, Megamind begins to train him into a superhero so he has somebody to fight and defeat. After Titan gets rejected by Roxanne, he turns to evil and becomes so powerful. He begins to destroy the whole city and everyone is fearing him. He is finally defeated by the great Megamind himself.
8. Tank “The Shredder” Evans
In this inspirational story of a young surfer, Cody Maverick, chasing his lifelong dream of performing in the “Big Z Memorial” and following in the footsteps of his childhood hero, in comes the island bully Tank Evans. After tormenting the island of Pengu for years and being the leading cause of the death of the island’s hero, Big Z, Tank has gotten used to being the best of the best surfers. From surfing over young surfers, to nearly shoving Chicken Joe out of the competition, Tank Evans is the notorious villain in “Surf’s Up” giving him the number 8 spot.
7. Johnny Worthington
As the president of “Roar Omega Roar”, Johnny Worthington encapsulates the stereotypical “jock” persona. Prioritizing his athletic prowess and social status over true brotherhood, the typical “Monsters University” connoisseur can easily grow a hatred for this monster. After dropping Sully Sullivan from the fraternity, Johnny challenges Oozma Kappa in the scare games where the loser gets kicked off of Monsters University’s campus. Coming in at number 7, Worthington has made the movie an interesting watch.
6. Lord Farquad
Lord Farquad is one of the most powerful people on this list. He wants to marry Princess Fiona so that he can become King. All he wants is power, and his goofy look and stature make for a funny watch. He is no match for Shrek and Donkey, as Shrek ends up with Fiona in the end.
5. Vector
One of our personal favorites on this list is the orange-suited demon known as Vector. Starring in one of the greatest film series of all time, Vector is Gru’s mortal enemy. His crazy technology, hilarious humor, and passion to steal the moon make for an amazing watch. Although he is defeated, he will always go down as one of the greats.
4. Syndrome
Syndrome has a crazy origin of being the biggest fan of Mr Incredible Himself. After Mr. Incredible tells him to go home, he makes it is job to defeat Mr. Incredible. He completely creates an entire technology to become an almost unbeatable villain. He picks apart Mr. Incredibles life, and almost defeats not only Mr. Incredible but his whole family.
3. Scar
Scar is the villain in what is probably the most iconic animated film of all time. He is so iconic for the evils that he commits. He tricks his nephew Simba into believing that he is responsible for his own fathers death. He set up Mufasa’s death in order to take the throne. He also fights Simba in the end to try and maintain his power but is ultimately defeated. He is one of the most evil and hated villains of all.
2. Tai Lung
One of the most powerful villains of all time, Tai Lung comes in at the number 2 villain. Behind the most devious of all, Ohare, Tai Lung’s insane skill combined with his unreal escape from jail, show he’s the most powerful villain on this list forsure. After not receiving the dragon scroll, Tai Lung seeks vengeance and makes the movie a phenomenal watch. He was no match for Po’s Wuxi Finger hold.
1. Aloysius O’Hare
The man, the myth, the legend. Aloysius O’Hare is the leader of the dystopian city of Thneedville. The power he holds is at a whole different level. He has his own bodyguards, cameras at every corner, and a massive monopoly on air. Nothing gets past him unseen. His evil saying of, “The more smog in the sky…the more people will buy” just shows the magnitude of his evil. His short stature, big tie, and butt cut make him even more of an unreal character. Nobody deserves the 1 spot more than the King of Air.
