Kentucky fans get their first real look at the Will Stein era this Saturday for the first time in Kroger Field and fans couldn’t be more excited. This Saturday is the Kentucky Football spring game and there is so much new energy and many fresh faces. The program has built an entirely different feel around Will Stein’s new offensive identity.
The biggest name to watch in the game this weekend is Kenny Minchey. Kenny has drawn significant praise throughout spring practice and has thrown many beautiful passes throughout practice.
The Notre Dame transfer has shown amazing accuracy and comfort in the Will Stein offense. Kenny’s coaches and teammates have emphasized Kenny’s ability to be able to make amazing throws in extremely tight windows. Minchey has created extreme optimism for the Wildcats, and they are ready to show the world what they can do on the air this season.
Stein has said that he wants his system to fit his players, and to not put them into an uncomfortable position. This approach has already shown to be a huge success this spring.
This Saturday you will see many mixed tempos, new personnel groupings, new formations, and option plays, along with the new and improved offensive line, hoping to rebuild the standard of the Big Blue Wall. If you’re a Kentucky fan, make sure to make the trip to Lexington this weekend and check out the Cats!
