Around one year ago, Addison Nutt and Henry Pape stepped on stage for the first time, playing for something much bigger than themselves. Their debut concert wasn’t just about music, it was about using their talents to support LLS (Leukemia & Lymphoma Society), raising money and awareness for a cause that impacts millions of people around the world.
“It means a lot to me to be playing for such a great cause,” Nutt said. “I know many families who have been affected by blood cancers such as leukemia and lymphoma, and I want to do everything I can to support patients.”
Now they’re back at it. On Friday, Feb. 27, they return with a bigger sound, more experience, and the same mission. They’ll be joined by two other St. Xavier students, Daniel Sherrard (bass) and Samuel Kimes (drums) to form their new band Jericho.
“The band, in fact, was formed in Yarborough’s famous Instrumental Music class,” Pape said. “I’m excited to bring St. X to the music scene.”
What started as two guys strumming and singing has grown into a full band with one goal in mind: using music to make a real impact. This show isn’t just another performance. It’s a chance to support classmates who are using their time and talent for something meaningful. Whether you came last year or this will be your first time, showing up helps make a difference.
