Henry and Nathanael (Nate) Bueter have been wrestling since grade school, and this season their years of dedication are paying off in a big way. Henry, a senior, and Nate, a junior, have emerged as two of the top competitors in the lineup, continuing a strong family tradition within the program.
The brothers put together an impressive week, each capturing city championship titles. Their performances not only highlighted their individual talent but also showed the chemistry and competitive drive they share as brothers.
One of the biggest facets to being a good wrestler is your wrestling partner; they push you to be the best version of yourself on the mat.
“Having Nate has helped my wrestling career a lot,” Henry said. “Living with your practice partner makes practicing much easier.”
Henry’s success has also attracted attention at the next level, as multiple college programs have reached out expressing interest in him as a collegiate wrestler.
Nate has often been described by coaches and teammates as a perfectionist on the mat, drilling every move until he can do it perfectly.
“If a job is worth doing, it’s worth doing right,” Nate said. “I work as hard as I can to be perfect.”
With confidence high and momentum building, the Bueter brothers are focused on finishing the season strong. As postseason competition approaches, they are poised to make a serious run at the state tournament and continue representing their program at a high level.
