Top 5 Star Wars Planets to Live on

In honor of May the 4th, I will be ranking the top five planets in the Star Wars universe that I would want to settle down and live on. The planets covered are only those that have appeared in live action.

5. Coruscant

Coruscant is the most heavily populated planet on this list by a landslide. First appearing in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, the planet is completely covered by a large city. Coruscant is one of the most visited planets in the prequels, and many of the greatest moments in this trilogy occur here. There is no limit to what you can do on Coruscant, but there are some heavy downsides to the planet. It has the most crime out of any planet here, and the split between the upper class and lower class of the planet is very distinct. As long as I lived in the upper levels of Coruscant, it would be a very nice place to live.

4. Scarif

If you love beautiful, sandy beaches and vast green wildlife, Scarif is the place for you. This planet first appeared in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and the beautiful landscape of the planet stole the attention of the entire audience. This planet would be the perfect place to settle down and live a peaceful and carefree life. Although Scarif is a small and remote planet with no real society, it is one of the prettiest places in the Star Wars universe.

3. Bespin

Bespin is most well known for its main urban area, Cloud City, which is an iconic location featured in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. Besides hosting one of the greatest twists in movie history, it easily has some of the most beautiful scenery in the original trilogy. With its beautiful sunsets and utopian-like cities, it seems like an ideal place to live. However, there is a complete lack of greenery and the society is located miles above an endless void of gases.

2. Alderaan

Alderaan is the planet most similar to a futuristic version of Earth on this list. Although it was first seen in Star Wars: A New Hope, it was promptly destroyed before we could see its true beauty on the surface. The planet was later revisited in the Kenobi series, and through the show we could see the green landscape and futuristic cities. The planet was also extremely peaceful with little crime, and the planet had no military force. As long as I was there long before its destruction, Alderaan would be an amazing place to live.

1. Naboo

Naboo is undoubtedly the most beautiful planet in the entire Star Wars universe. From the architecture to the landscapes, Naboo is awe-inspiring in nearly every way while hosting various societies and species of animals. This planet was first seen in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and many of the best scenes of the movie took place here. There is very little crime and is a variety of things to do there. In my opinion, Naboo would hands down be the best planet to live on in Star Wars.
