About the Contributors
Jake Varga
Jake Varga, Staff Writer
Jake Varga is a 6’5” varsity soccer state champion at St. X. When Jake has some time to spare, you can find him attempting to replicate Max Homa’s buttery golf swing at Hurstbourne CC or on the toilet watching Tavon Austin’s West Virginia highlight tape. Varga considers himself to be a UK super-fan and has been to just about every home basketball game since 2017. In regards to his own basketball skills, the media calls him “Jakewitdashifts.”
Frankie Klein
Frankie Klein, Staff Writer
Good morning, good evening, good night, or whenever you read these awesome four sentences about the man, the myth, the legend, Frankie Klein. His name is Klein, Frankie Klein. He knows each of Joe Burrow’s five hairstyles and can rank them 1-5 on which one makes him look more like Tom Brady and less like Jeff Brohm. Some may say he is “him” because he is in fact, a male. Go Cats, Who Dey, and long live the fantasy football dynasty of Franks Dawgs. Slay! Mark poop stinks!
Patrick Masterson
Patrick Masterson, Staff Writer
Patrick Masterson is a varsity lacrosse player. Patrick also enjoys watching the Baltimore Ravens, Louisville Cardinals and Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He is also a Star Wars advocate, and his favorite movie in the series is "Revenge of the Sith". Another interesting milestone about him is that he is notoriously known for catching the biggest bass at Sawmill Lake in Indiana.
Ryder John
Ryder John, Staff Writer
This is Ryder John. He is an avid Louisville sports fan. Ryder is on the Lacrosse and Swim team. He is the 2023 “Clash of Champions” Martial Arts tournament Champion.
Griffin Mattingly
Griffin Mattingly, Staff Writer

Griffin, a current senior, is the last of five Mattingly brothers to come through St. X. He pays the bills by scooping ice cream at Graeter's and caddying at Valhalla Golf Club. In his free time, you can catch Griffin making fools of people on intramural and intermediate basketball courts, waving goodbye to sad Louisville fans as they exit Kroger Field, or getting up to other shenanigans. Griffin listens to Chris Stapleton, makes some mean scrambled eggs, and once had 13 fidget spinners.
