February 9, 2023

It’s time for the Super Bowl, so you know what that means. Commercials, the halftime show, the game itself, and of course the food.

The food selection at a Super Bowl party can make or break the night. A good spread equates to an enjoyable night for fans of both teams. A bad spread results in nothing for the losing teams fans to drown their sorrows in. Today, we will be discussing the top foods to enjoy during the Super Bowl.

Wings

Whether it’s Buffalo or Nashville hot, bone-in or boneless, there’s no way to go wrong with wings on the night of the big game. A versatile item with hundreds of different combinations, there’s an option for everyone to enjoy. It’s easily the most eaten option of the day as the National Chicken Council believes that over 1.4 billion wings are eaten on Super Bowl Sunday.

Pizza

The ultimate party food — easily shareable, large portions and another item that’s easily customizable. While its history is Italian, it’s been inherited by Americans as a classic party food.

An American classic. Barbecue joints have spread throughout the nation with one in almost every city. Pit-style brisket, pulled pork, smoked ribs: the list goes on of different styles. The big game is such a large deal in the bbq landscape that many websites offer special recipes to be enjoyed that day.

Burgers

What goes perfectly with tailgating? Grilling. The ultimate grilling item? Burgers. Another American classic, burgers are easy to make on any grill and are eaten throughout the country on the big night, with an estimated 14 billion burgers grilled the night of the big game.

Dips

There are so many different types of dips that are eaten on Super Bowl Sunday it was impossible to choose just one. Buffalo chicken, seven-layer, jalapeño popper, spinach artichoke. The list goes on and on, getting even simpler with dips like guacamole and queso. Easy to be placed in between its enjoyers, dips are an outstanding choice to be enjoyed on Super Bowl Sunday.
