Tiger Talks: Ms. Sample with DJ Stobbe

Ms. Sample has been here since 2018 and was the assistant principal for two years. She then became the principal in 2020. Ms. Sample got her bachelor’s degree from Bellarmine University, her masters degree from Indiana University Southeast, and an educational specialist degree from Louisville. She was hired in 1999 as an English teacher at Mercy Academy and then served as principal from 2012-2018. Ms. Sample has now been the principal for two years and is known for her down-to-earth leading style. There have been 23 principals, but she is the first female principal in St. X history. Ms. Sample talks about her insight as a female leader and the challenges she has faced. We also get to know her better as a person and learn about her life before teaching.
