Sky and Joey’s Release Radar

Friday is my favorite day of the week for many reasons. For me (Joey), it is because of how much new music comes out. I start my Friday morning by listening to my release radar. Sky and I listen to all kinds of music, and we want to share what new music we are listening to. “2010” – Earl Sweatshirt

If you are a fan of Earl, this song and the album it hails from will please you. Earl’s style of experimental rap combined with his unique lyrical style brings “2010” and Sick! to the top of my 2022 albums list so far. In “2010” Earl discusses his childhood, his mother, and the money he made when he began rapping. This song is one of the best on Sick! and has great storytelling for a two-minute song. Definitely check out “2010” and Sick! on Spotify.

Joey

“Passion” – O.E., Aaron May 

Never in my life have I been in the car with my friends and heard “Ayo turn on that new O.E.”, but that’s about to change with his new single “Passion”. O.E. rapped his heart out and has potential to blow up after this track. Bagging an Aaron May feature proved worth it, delivering one of his better features. Aaron May is the icing on the cake for this song. It’s catchy, vibey, and will definitely go into my rotation.
