Reid Wesley, St. X class of 2011, has built an elite travel lacrosse program that is based right here in Louisville, Ky. He started this business by giving lessons to local kids during his playing days at Bellarmine University. When Wesley started this business, he had one simple goal, to grow the sport that he loved where he grew up.
“At the time there wasn’t much elite level lacrosse talent in the area,” Wesley said. “I had learned a lot from my coaches at Bellarmine and wanted to pass that knowledge on to younger players in Louisville.”
With the Help of his College roommate Dylan Gatt, L4 Lacrosse has found major success in both field and box lacrosse. Here are some of L4’s major accomplishments:
• USBOXLA 2021 National Champions
• 2022, 2023 Adrenaline Western Shootout Champions
• 2024 Border Wars Champions
• Over 65 L4 alumni have gone on to play at the college level
“One of our biggest accomplishments was winning the Border Wars Championship in Toronto, which is essentially a world championship.” Wesley said.

L4 prides itself on teaching the game the right way and focusing on player development, which has resulted in major success.
“The best part of coaching is the relationships you build with players both on and off the field,” Wesley added.
L4 has played a major role in growing the game of lacrosse not only in Kentucky but the Midwest as a whole.
